premiun quality acrylic roof waterproofing coating, which creates amembrane
that seals small holes and cracks to stop leaks on well drained roof
surfaces such as flat tile, barrel tile, slate, roll roofing, tar paper,
asphalt shimgles, urethane foam and metal roofs; thus providing long-term
protection from damaging elements of our severe tropical climate, including
ultraviolet rays from the sun, wind, rain, etc. Introduced by Somay
more than a dozen yeras ago. Hundred of thousands of gallons have been
used satisfactory . Has South Florida Building Code (Metro Dade County)
Product Approval as an "alternative roofing system". Has an
anticipated lifespan of 15 years in tropical climates, when two (2)
coats are applied at the recommended 40 mil dry film thickness. Easy
to apply by the "Do-It-Yourself !" handyman, or by professional
applicators. Available in "White" to reflect 83% of the heat
from the sun and help keep buildings much cooler; and can be top-coated
with a Custom Color Somay acrylic latex roof paint.

Andrew, while unprotected roofs peeled off, leaving buildings exposed
to the ravages of the winds and the rain.

A
premium quality, modified acylic wall waterproofing coating that will
surface pores and bridge hairline cracks in exterior masonry walls.When
a 10 mil dry film thickness is applied, this coatings forms a membrane
that can withstand severe weather conditions, such as hurricane force
wind-driven rain up to 100 mph, preventing water from penetrating through
the coating and the wall. Has an estimated exterior durability of 12
or more years.Made in white, and Custom Colors on a Special Order basis.

PRIME & SEAL, PRIMER SEALER.
A
modified acrylic, solvent-thinned, heavy duty, industrial strenght, all
purpose, clear sealer for interior and exterior use as a first coat, primer,
undercoater or surface conditioner. Very effective as a primer on porous
or chalky surfaces, including flat tile, barrel tile, concrete, masonry,
stone, brick, wood, metal, asphalt shingles, slate, roll roofing, tar
paper and other surfaces. Also especially usefull on buildings in the
Caribbean, where masonry surfaces are frequently contaminated with salts,
since Somay Product No. 7751 acts as a chemical barrier to keep the salts
from leaching out of the surface and attacking the surface coating.This
primer enhances the waterproofing properties of elastomeric top coatings,
and is recommended as the primer for Somay's Elastomeric ROOF MASTIC waterproofing
coating system.

LEAKY ROOF SEALER.
A
solvent-thinned, modified acrylic resin formulation that is used like
a heavy duty, industrial strenght, semi-viscous caulk to seal small roof
cracks or holes that are leaking. This thick viscosity product is specially
practical because it can be applied even rayny or freezing weather when
you can most easily determine if you have plugged the leaking roof, since
it can stop leaks immediately, even before it has had an opportunity to
cure. This product must be top coated after it has had a chance to dry.

ELASTOMERIC PATCH & SEAL.
A
premium quality, white, acrylic caulking material formulated especially
to patch, seal, caulk and waterproof leaks in roof and wall surfaces.
Its viscosity can be modified by the addition of Product No. 842, ROOF
MASTIC, to create any consistency desired by the user. Easily applied
by the "Do-It-Yourself" handyman with a putty knife, spatula,
brush, etc.
