 SURFACE
PREPNew Wood: Sand smooth using fine sandpaper. Remove sanding dust
with tack rag or cloth dampened with paint thinner or mineral spirits.
Old Finishes in Good Condition: Remove grease, dirt and
wax. Sand lightly in the direction of the grain to remove any gloss. Clean
        and remove dust as above.
Old Finishes in Poor Condition: Remove completely. Sand
        and remove dust as above.
As a wood conditioner for bare soft and porous wood: For a uniform wood
stain appearance, prior to staining bare soft and porous wood such as
fir, pine, lauan and aspen, wipe on a coat.
Wait 5-10 minutes, then wipe off excess. Apply stain within 2 hours.

 APPLICATIONApply
when air and surface temperatures are above 50°F. Stir before and
during application. Do not shake! Do not thin. Apply straight from the
can. Apply using a clean lint-free cloth (an old tee shirt works well).
        Do not use a roller.
DRYINGAllow to dry 6-8 hours depending on temperature, humidity and film thickness.
If while sanding, sandpaper gums or surface feels tacky, extend drying
        time.
